The IGC (IBM Information Governance Catalog) component provides the solution with a complete and integrated data governance platform. Thus, the client can create a complete glossary of data governance policies, information control rules and all business terms relevant to the company, organized into specific categories. In addition, this component allows the definition of users responsible for each subject, promoting the Data Stewardship vision and enabling the collaborative aspect involved in the interaction between users through the Glossary.
The solution imports and manages all data assets, capturing this information from connectors capable of interpreting the metadata involved in each of these technologies and managing all these assets through a single central corporate repository.
